Description: Chocolate bark is a type of confectionery made by melting chocolate and then spreading it in a thin layer on a flat surface, such as a baking sheet or parchment paper. The melted chocolate is then topped with various ingredients, such as nuts, dried fruits, candy, or other sweets before it cools and hardens into a thin sheet. Once the chocolate has set, the bark is broken into irregular pieces, resembling the bark of a tree. Chocolate bark can be enjoyed as a treat on its own or used as a topping for cakes, ice cream, or other desserts. It can be made with any type of chocolate, including dark, milk, or white chocolate.
